We are always looking for new writers, photographers, videographers, and web designers. If you would like to get involved, we would love to have you.
You can join at any point during the year and contribute as much or as little as you like.
In general, to be an “official” member of our team, we ask that you contribute at least one piece of content per month during the school year, or ten pieces in total. A piece of content can be as short as a paragraph or a photo with a caption.
If you are too busy to contribute during one part of the year, you can make up for it by submitting an extra piece or two when you are less busy. For example, let’s say you are on the cross-country team in the fall and are not able to contribute in September, October, or November. You can still join us in December and produce ten pieces of content between December and June.
To get started, you can come to one of our meetings. We meet every Wednesday after school in room 213, which is Mr. Schussler’s classroom. Everyone is welcome. Bring a friend!
It is okay if you are busy after school on Wednesdays . Attendance at meetings is not required to be a part of The Daily Olivian.
