The OA softball team is getting ready for a great season this year. Senior captain Maddie Homer says ¨We are excited for the season and to get a second chance at playoffs¨. After having a great season last year the team hopes to make it farther in the playoffs than ever before. ¨I expect we will do very well this year. We had no seniors last year, which gives us the advantage because it will be the same team¨ says Homer. The team has been practicing over the winter and also has a new assistant coach this year, which they hope will make for a good season. Homer states ¨We have a new assistant coach this year, Mrs. Doulette, so are excited to see what we can achieve this year¨.
