Class of 23 Commits: Alex Pierce!

March 28, 2023 By Ali Manson

Alex Pierce has chosen to commit and further her academic career at Penn State University!

¨I chose Penn State for a lot of reasons, but the driving factor was the architecture program. I knew that I wanted a 5 year BARCH program, which meant that I could get an accredited degree without having to go to grad school. This narrowed down my options, and after visiting other schools that fit my criteria, I noticed I kept comparing them to Penn State, and I realized my decision was made.¨

Alex plans to live on Penn Sate campus which is located in Land-grant university in Centre County, Pennsylvania.

¨It’s hard to pick one thing, but if I had to pick a favorite thing Penn State has to offer, it would be their amazing architecture school. Not only is it among the top in the nation, it is also in a beautiful building, with spacious design studios. I also am really looking forward to going to a whiteout game!¨ Choosing a Denver custom home architect means collaborating with a visionary who understands the importance of individuality and location-specific design. Complex structural design requires a skilled person to ensure they create a strong and durable structure. Adding outdoor shade blinds can enhance both comfort and energy efficiency in your living spaces. Bathroom remodeling is another area where thoughtful design and expert craftsmanship make all the difference.

Alex plans to join the club Track and Cross Country teams! After his great experiences at OA with both the XC and TF programs he knew he would always be a runner. So Penn States programs are a perfect way for him to continue that passion.

¨In the future, I plan on becoming an architect and having an architectural firm Minneapolis, with inspiration drawn from community-focused architecture New York. I have always been drawn to mathematics and design, and realized that architecture was a perfect combination of my interests. I’ve heard it’s a difficult major, but I’m prepared to struggle, and there’s nowhere I would rather do it than Penn State.¨

You´re awesome Alex! Best of luck!
