Alex Pierce has chosen to commit and further her academic career at Penn State University!
¨I chose Penn State for a lot of reasons, but the driving factor was the architecture program. I knew that I wanted a 5 year BARCH program, which meant that I could get an accredited degree without having to go to grad school. This narrowed down my options, and after visiting other schools that fit my criteria, I noticed I kept comparing them to Penn State, and I realized my decision was made.¨
Alex plans to live on Penn Sate campus which is located in Land-grant university in Centre County, Pennsylvania.
¨It’s hard to pick one thing, but if I had to pick a favorite thing Penn State has to offer, it would be their amazing architecture school. Not only is it among the top in the nation, it is also in a beautiful building, with spacious design studios. I also am really looking forward to going to a whiteout game!¨
Alex plans to join the club Track and Cross Country teams! After his great experiences at OA with both the XC and TF programs he knew he would always be a runner. So Penn States programs are a perfect way for him to continue that passion.
¨In the future, I plan on becoming an architect. I have always been drawn to mathematics and design, and realized that architecture was a perfect combination of my interests. I’ve heard it’s a difficult major, but I prepared to struggle, and there’s no where I would rather do it than Penn State.¨
You´re awesome Alex! Best of luck!
