I think we can all admit, Easton has barely received any snowfall this winter season. Yes, we’ve had many days where it may snow for an hour or so, but the snow never stays for longer than a day. Compared to past years, this is honestly a little shocking. Easton is very used to heavy snowfall. Having snow days back to back, plows working at all hours of the night, slippery walkways. We expect our winters in New England to be like that. But what now? What’s happening with the weather this winter?
Easton just had its first official snow day of the 2022-2023 school year this week. Everyone was very excited about it. At this point in the year though, we’ve usually had multiple. Personally, I find it odd how the weather patterns have been lately. We’ve had many 60 degree sunny days in the past few months. We’ve barely had any heavy snow storms. Whether you want to believe it or not, this may actually be a result of global warming. The weather patterns could be a direct result of it. That’s just my opinion on this winter weather though. What do you think? Is it truly because of global warming?
