Hobie Sobieraj has chosen to commit and further his academic career at the University of Hawaii!
¨I chose to commit to Hawaii because it has been my dream school since I was a freshmen. I want to be a marine biologist and I see this as one of the best spots to start my career. Hopefully this is just the start of my education as I hope to continue education after Hawaii to get my PhD. ¨
Hobie definitely plans to live on campus since it is so far away.
¨ I think the location to continue my studies will benefit my education. With the hopes of being a marine biologist and being right on the water I will have lots of access to further my knowledge.¨
Hobie does not plan to play sports in college because the school doesn’t offer a men running program but he says he is definitely interested in joining a fraternity in the fall.
¨I think my plans for the future will revolve somewhere on the ocean. I hope to be a researcher somewhere along the Atlantic making a difference with sharks.¨
