Let’s start off with something The Social Cyclone hasn’t really touched on yet, sports! Just this week Tampa Bay Buccaneer’s star quarterback Tom Brady has officially reached over 100,000 passing yards in his career. According to BleacherReport.com, Tom Brady is “the first player in NFL history” to reach this many passing yards. The official NFL Twitter account even tweeted about it. This is a huge win for fans all over, especially the day-ones here in New England.
This next report hits a little too close to home for a lot of us. In Boston last night, November 6th, there were multiple shootings, roughly three of them. One person is dead and five other people have been injured as a result of these shootings. These shootings are all to have taken place within an hour. Police are suspicious that there could be some kind of link or connection between the shootings. That’s all we really know as of right now, considering how recently this event had taken place.
Lastly, here’s a lighter topic for this week’s segment of The Social Cyclone. Oklahoma City Zoo has made a statement to the public and is asking for some help. They have four new lion cubs and need help with naming them! According to CNN.com, three of the cubs are female and one is male. CNN also stated that the zoo released three separate name groups to vote on!
