Q: What is your role here at Oliver Ames?
A: My role at OA is in nursing. As a school nurse and as a new staff member, I am getting acclimated to my new surroundings. That being said, I am learning protocols and policies. Rules are being put in place to maintain the physical and emotional safety of students, and to protect their educational experience. I have been a school nurse for 18 years and my job is to maintain the well being of the students.
Q: Who got you to where you are today?
A: I got myself to where I am today through personal drive and hard work.
Q: What is your favorite fun fact about yourself?
A: My favorite fun fact about myself is when I swam with a dolphin.
Q: If you could be any animal, what animal would you be and why?
A: If I could be any animal I could probably be a horse. They are strong and hardworking. They can work independently and with others. They have beautiful presents about them.
Q: Do you have any thoughts on the school in general that you would like to add?
A: OA has a great way of making new staff feel welcomed. Everyone has been really positive and friendly towards me, I am excited to be working here!
