“Relax. You don’t have to be perfect all the time or fit the mold that society has created for you. Do things because you love to do them, not because it will make you appear more desirable to society. The future will work itself out, but make sure to enjoy life and cherish the moments with your family and friends. And again, relax”.
Ms. Cleary
¨If I were in high school again, I would stress less about getting into a “good” college and focus on enjoying my time in school more. I would worry less about grades and more about learning about interesting topics and becoming a better person.¨
Mrs. Hynes
¨I would have studied harder. Because I failed to learn how to study, I struggled in college when it came to big tests and assessments. I wish I would have taken the time to prepare efficiently.¨
Mr. Mulcahy
¨If I were in high school again, I would take advantage of all the different clubs, activities, and sports that Oliver Ames has to offer. I would join new clubs or try a new sport. I was involved at Oliver Ames when I was in high school but wish that I did more and was involved in more activities/sports. ¨
Mr. Flanagan
¨I would say that if I were in high school again, I would do more of my homework and apply myself more. I was more concerned with extra curricular activities, sports and clubs but not as interested in applying myself academically.¨
Mrs. Makrinos
¨Looking back, I definitely would have taken more challenging classes. I worked hard in my classes, got good grades, and felt ready for college, but very few of my classes were intellectually stimulating.¨
Mr. Gotsell
