Black History Month what does that truly really mean
Is it the only month blacks are truly really seen
————
No, it’s just the month that we are prouder
The time that you can hear our voice
The months that we are louder
The month you have to hear our hurt
The month where black lives matter .
Raindrop
The factor of nature that sustains life
Superiority
A factor a feeling
That has a distorted me
Authority
The feeling of power over majority
Society
We follow the footsteps of those maniacally
But who will break this cycle
Follow the road thats idle
Begin the wave from tidal
Cause if they go than I go
But if they don’t than i will
The only constant is change
And only change is constant
So I constantly change
But still remain, so often
I feel slightly deranged and insane
So lost in
A world but never found
I’m heard but there’s no sound
I’m free but i’m still bound
I breathe but I still drowned
I fly but touch the ground
Restriction
I learned to speak and to articulate
Listen to me speak clearly as I enunciate
Communicate
the differences of those they clearly demonstrate
They stem from hate
Trying to keep us apart, to accommodate
For the races that think their better that think they dominate
Superiority a factor to me that simply agitates
There’s no difference between me and you don’t differentiate
Judging us from whom which we strongly associate
Why do I beg you for equality I don’t negotiate
Illustrate
A world of equality that simply captivates
Almost impossible for one solely to try an fabricate
Elaborate
On all of the ideas they truly fascinate
