It is my opinion that anyone can become a good artist no matter their initial skill level, their age, or their experience. Art, like anything else, is a skill, and people can improve even if they feel like they are terrible when they start. A common misconception I always hear is when people say that “they’re just not good at art.” Art is something that you can improve and become better with time and practice.
And now we have more time on our hands than ever before – the perfect time to start your journey to becoming a better artist. If you find that you have extra time on your hands, why not doodle? I find art to be a fantastic stress-reliever, and we have more than enough stress nowadays. You can even draw with an audiobook, movie, or music playing
Some of the best ways to begin drawing if you have no idea where to start is to watch YouTube tutorial videos. There is a lot of great content out there, and the videos make it easy for beginner artists to follow along.
So why not take the time to develop a new skill? Even if you don’t have the goal of becoming a great artist, art is great to reduce stress and is a relaxing pastime to relive your boredom during quarantine.
