Governor Charlie Baker has announced on March 25th that all Massachusetts schools will remain closed until May 4th at the earliest. This change in closing is a revision from his last ruling of schools being closed until early April.
Baker stressed the importance of education during this break and that this is “not an extended school vacation.” He said that the Massachusetts Departments of Education “would work with school districts to further develop educational programming students can use at home.”
In related news, the College Board has made its decision to allow students to take their AP exams at home and will send out more information on April 3rd.
