This week’s Oliver Ames Player of the Week is Morgan Foltz. The fourth winter athlete to receive this award comes from the Oliver Ames Girls Swimming Team.
The Oliver Ames Girls Swimming Team finished the season undefeated with seven wins. They ended this incredible season with a dominating performance at the Hockomock Championships. This tremendous success would not have been fully possible without a talented swimmer in Morgan Foltz.
At the Hockomock Championships, Foltz won four titles to help OA claim 7th place. In the 50 yard freestyle race, Foltz won gold with a Hockomock record-setting time of 24.91 seconds. In the 500 yard freestyle, she won gold again with a time of 5:20.94.
Morgan Foltz was also recognized by HockomockSports.com for her impressive talent. For the week of 1/26 to 2/1, Foltz was selected to be the HockomockSports.com Player of the Week.
