There’s a new restaurant in town! Say goodbye to Towneship and hello to La Cucina Ristorante!
After going to La Cucina last night to try the newest restaurant’s creations, I can only say that I was blown away from the time I sat down. I went with my parents, and they were equally blown away.
My dad got the lasagna which puts a very interesting twist on a homemade classic. A traditional lasagna usually only has ground beef in it, right? Not La Cucina’s take on it! Their classic has Italian cold cuts, sliced meatballs, AND sweet Italian sausage. “I’ll come back every day just for this!” my dad says as he finishes his meal.
My mom got the “Almond Crusted Salmon”, which she is now obsessed with. Not only was the salmon great but it was topped with baby shrimp and served over spinach, everything my mom loves. The presentation was so beautiful, and made you not want to dig in!
Lastly, I got the 14 oz NY Strip with gorgonzola butter on top and wow! I enjoy my steak medium, and it was given to me a little on the medium-rare side, but instead of sending back I continued to eat it and loved every bite. The seasoning was perfect and the Gorgonzola was an added plus to the steak. Even topped with a beautiful purple flower!
We sat opposite the bar in a beautifully decorated lounge with a huge fire lighting the room. The fire along with the paintings and other decorations created a special ambiance that makes you want to stay, drink, and eat for hours.
As far as the pricing, it is on the higher end. But it is completely worth it! You are paying the price for what you get, excellence!
All in all, I strongly recommend La Cucina!
