After an unbelievable performance last week against Braintree, Nathan Cabral has re-claimed the title of Oliver Ames Player of the Week. Nathan Cabral was also named Boston Herald Football Star of the Week.
This past Thursday, Oliver Ames traveled to Braintree High School for a football match. In competitive battle, Oliver Ames outscored Braintree by one point, with a final score of 28-27. Out of the four touchdowns scored by the tigers, Nathan Cabral was responsible for all of them. Three of his touchdowns took place in the first quarter, giving OA a strong 20 point lead. His final touchdown which sealed the win for OA, came off a 72 yard carry. His final stats were four rushing touchdowns with 236 yards off of 13 carries.
When Nathan heard he was the OA Player of the Week for a second time, he was filled with joy.
“It feels really good knowing that all of my hard work and dedication gets noticed and appreciated. For my next game, I plan to give it my all against Brookline, and hopefully I can become the player of the week for a third time”.
