With a substantial first-round win over the Greater New Bedford Vocational Technical High School this past Sunday, Kevin Louhis is this week’s Oliver Ames player of the week.
Traveling from a different country, Kevin and his older brother moved to Easton last year. Adjusting to the Oliver Ames soccer program with Coach John Barata was effortlessly smooth. Both brothers quickly found their place in the offense. With his brother now graduated, Kevin has demonstrated how much of a threat he is with the ball.
The 6-2 first-round win was a spectacle to witness. With this big win, the OA Tigers have strong momentum going into the rest of the playoffs. Out of the six goals scored by the tigers, Kevin Louhis scored two of them, two very impressive goals. As a junior, Kevin Louhis has a total of 13 points coming from 4 goals and 9 assists.
There’s no doubt that Kevin’s future is bright, especially for his senior year, but for now, he is this week’s OA player of the week.
