Coming off a 14-win season, head coach Chelsea Correia and senior captains Allie Kemp and Jordan Bosse plan to reach and win the league championship this year. After losing the first game of the season to Brockton, the lady tigers have gone on a five game winning streak.
This season of volleyball for the OA Tigers could be spectacular as there is no clear weakness or limit to the team. Captains, Jordan Bosse and Allie Kemp, mentioned that they plan to “motivate their teammates” to try their best so that they can hopefully “win hocks.” In order for this to come true, they look for consistently strong performances, from seniors Ryley McNeeley and Alison Barth. In a brief interview with Ryley, she explained the importance of “good communication.” It sounds like all the players are on the same page as they look forward to the next game.
Captain, Allie Kemp recently reached a milestone of 1000+ assists on September 9th against Taunton. This milestone demonstrated how far she has come since freshman year. She promised the fans that they will “win a lot of games.” She is doing exactly that. The volleyball team plans to continue the 6-game streak on Wednesday, September 18th at 5 P.M. at Foxboro High School against the Warriors.
