The OA Tigers hope to pick up right where they left off as they look for strong leadership from senior captain’s Matthew Nosalek and Jonathan Freeman. Both captains have been playing soccer since they were three and four and their passion for the sport could not be stronger. They want nothing more than to win. While Jonathan emphasizes strong communication skills, Matthew explains that he will “motivate [his teammates] to work their hardest,” but they can both agree in “unity amongst the [entire] team.”
In the first match of the season, we saw the Oliver Ames Tigers demolish the Stoughton Black Knights with ease, winning 5 goals to none. The 2018 Hockomock Underclassman of the Year, Colin Miliken, scored 2 of the 5 goals. In the second game of the season, the OA Tigers proved their superiority over the Taunton Tigers in a 3-0 win. After two impressive blowouts, the fans have a lot to look forward to within this young and exciting team.
We can see them playing North Attleboro, Friday, September 13th at 5 P.M.
