Wow, this is the last one. I cannot believe this. What a journey it has been, I was lost from the beginning. If you see my first two articles, you could see how much I have grown into much more of a Barstool writer than anything. I went from talking about each playoff teams hopes and Luke Thibeault to talking about how each team was just going to flat out win the state championship. One thing is for sure, I was never right.
My best were my columns on the fan section. I wrote two on the fan sections alone. The first one was a response to Destiny’s column on how she thought the fan section was a little much while I argued that being in the fan section was one of the best things to ever happen to Oliver Ames. The second one was because the school implemented dumb rules for the section essentially trying to kill all of the fun. I will not remember how during my four years here, a lot of fun was taken away from being in high school. Yes those are shots, no, you figure it out.
How I got into the newspaper was Schussler basically begging me to be a writer and just writing during Writing Sem to get all of my articles done. That year, I was basically writing an article a week and I do not know how I kept getting all of the work done. However, due to my success, I became the Sports Editor and it was really one of the best things to ever happen to me. I really have to thank Schussler for getting into the newspaper and reaching my full potential as a writer.
Next year, I will be attending Syracuse University for the english heavy major in Computer Science. I will remember my time here at the Daily Olivian and cherish it forever. I really want to thank what the newspaper has done for me and I am thinking about continuing my publication work next fall. And for all of my long term readers, I will leave you with these last words. Thank you for reading what I put out and Wisconsin is the worst basketball play in history.
