C’monn R. Kelly Why You Gotta do Us Like That?
This is not the first time R. Kelly has been hated on. According to Vulture, in 2008, R. Kelly was accused of peeing on a 13-year-old girl and had sex with her. Now, R. Kelly has been charged with ten counts of felony aggravated criminal sex abuse. That really makes me rethink loving his song “Ignition”.
In R. Kelly’s recent CBS interview with Gayle King, he had an explosive episode due to all of his built up anger about all of these accusations. More than 50 people were interviewed in the docuseries “I Survived R. Kelly” and they all said that he was guilty. Yet when King asked Kelly if he has ever broken any laws when it comes to women, he said, “Absolutely not.”
I have been hearing a lot of people question whether or not it is an act, a mental breakdown, and other people just don’t care because they think its funny.
According to AJC, “when the interview aired, viewers took to Twitter to share their opinions, and the hashtag #R Kelly Interview become a trending topic nationwide.” So now not only is he being accused of being a sexual offender, but now he is being accused of being a manipulator and liar. People were saying this act just demonstrates all of his guilt. Others believe he stood up with so much aggression to demonstrate his power over the interviewer, Gayle King, who is a woman.
Kelly may have beat cases in the past, but does that make him innocent now?
