The Super Bowl last night was certainly different from the many other ones that we have seen where exciting catches and touchdowns filled our memories for weeks to come. The game was extremely low scoring with defense taking the forefront for the Pats. So…was this a fun game? Here are some students thoughts:
Phil Poirier: “Well to be clearly honest with you, I think that must have been one of, if not the WORST Super Bowl I have seen in my life. I mean it was 3-3 by the 4th quarter! I drove all the way to New Bedford with my friend just to hang out and go see the Super Bowl and I told him I didn’t come all the way over here for this so it was just terrible. Maroon 5, trash. Travis Scott, he didn’t even know he was at the Super Bowl, he was lost. Where was Migos? It was just a disgrace.”
Anthony Berkza: “That went just like Tom Brady said…that went down to the wire. I thought Tom Brady was kinda held in the shadow and wasn’t able to pass as much but we ran a lot and Sony Michelle maybe should have been up there for Super Bowl MVP.”
Kyle Gray: “Almost as boring as the Panthers and Broncos Super Bowl and the worst halftime show I have EVER seen.”
Chucky Akanegbu: “Worst Super Bowl ever. Defensive game, but you can’t beat the duo.”
Kelan Rice: “Happy with the outcome. Defense wins championships.”
Grace Maga: “It was a slow, kind of painful start but I think the Pats proved themselves in the 4th quarter and made the adjustments they needed to win.”
Alex Buche: “Apart from the score, it was hardly a shock for me.”
Henry Simone: “I don’t speak for everyone, but watching a defensive game was just as exciting as watching a shootout.”
