It’s spooky time!!!
This is 2nd favorite fat season after Thanksgiving. I love that I can eat all the tooth-rotting candy I want at the same time I’m dressed as something completely ridiculous that probably cost me more than all the candy is worth.
Actually, I don’t love it.
I’m so mad that it is not socially acceptable to go trick or treating anymore!!! Like if it so happens to be October 31 and I am 25 years old craving candy, it should not be weird to walk up to someone’s house and grab candy. Like seriously, parents don’t let kids eat half of the stuff anyway so that they can devour it for themselves in secret.
Another thing that is just so crazy to me about Halloween is that for literally something I’m going to wear ONCE, I have to pay $30 or more dollars. I could make my own costume , but I really suffer from a disease also known as “lazy,” so that is not gonna happen. I also miss the days when it was normal to actually wear a costume vs. your underwear. Halloween. Nowadays, I feel like parents are nearly having a heart attack looking at what kids leave the house looking like when it comes to Halloween. That’s enough said there.
But in all honesty, spooky time is my prime. I love the horror movies and all the darkness that comes with the season.
I am not regretting the fact that my body is filled with an iced apple cider from Dunks and a pumpkin donut everyday either.
BOO
Ha. gotcha!
