Do you ever get that 1960’s tv show theme song stuck in your head? The one with the snapping? Or maybe you look forward to watching the 1991 remake movie during Freeform’s Thirteen Nights of Halloween. If so, save the date! The OA Music Department is putting together The Addams Family! In contrast to Dr. Seuss’ colorful world in Seussical last year have a look inside kooky, spooky, ooky world the Addams’ live in.
Raising teenagers is never easy, but what will Gomez and Morticia Addams do when their 18 years old daughter, Wednesday, starts to like puppies and unicorns and not the usual gore and violence she enjoyed as a child? Or how about when she brings a boy and his family to their house for dinner? Laugh along as you see the cynical family scramble to act normal in front of another family. Enjoy family politics with a dark twist – and catchy songs. “It’s something very different than what OA has done in the past few years, but it’s going to be just as entertaining of a show for all audiences to come and see” says cast member Holly Chadwick.
Show dates are March 9, 10, and 11. Tickets will be available on oatickets.us very soon!
