The wrestling team began their season this weekend with the annual Devin Ness Memorial Tournament. Every year the tournament generates an outstanding turnout and brings competition from all over New England. The OA wrestlers faced challenging competition, but many fared well and maintained a positive record. Brandon Belleton won the tournament for his weight class and impressive expedition to a long season.
OA wrestling has been on an incredible rise in recently, breaking their single season wins total in back to back years. Coach Kahn and coach Mulcahy have constructed a great team environment and can be given credit for much of the success the wrestling team has endured over the course of these two years. OA wrestling looks to make this year even better than the last, as they look for the win this Wednesday night at home.
