Girls Soccer: 7 Wins, 2 Losses. The girls continue to roll over the competition with ease, adding 2 more wins to their season last week. They were able to top Attleboro as well as Taunton in impressive showings by the whole team. This week they take on Mansfield (Monday), Mildford (Wednesday), and Foxboro (Friday), which could push them to double digits in the win column.
Boys Soccer: 6 Wins, 1 Tie, 1 Loss. The team went 2-1 last week, only losing to Masconomet Regional, which only counts as a loss for the playoffs. So, for the Hock, they are still undefeated. They want to continue this streak this week when they play Mansfield (Monday), Milford (Wednesday), and Foxboro (Friday). Wish them luck! (Even though they probably won’t need it)
Football: 2 Wins, 2 Losses. As many of you know, OA football had a very impressive win over Franklin who is a very good team. Despite the talent OA faced, they were still able to blow them out 40-22 off of 3 touchdowns from Anthony Berkza and great overall play from the rest of the team. This week they will play an away game vs. Attleboro on Friday and will attempt to get their record above .500.
Golf: 4 Wins, 0 Losses. The only match that the team was supposed to have vs. KP got rescheduled so they did not play this week. They took this week as an opportunity for more practice and are as ready as ever to take on a bombardment of teams. This week alone they will face Sharon (Monday), Foxboro (Tuesday), Franklin (Wednesday), and Attleboro (Friday). In this week alone they could double down on their 4-0 record!
Field Hockey: 6 Wins, 1 Tie, 1 Loss. Field Hockey continues to impress as they put up 2 more wins last week, beating Attleboro and then Taunton. the next victims will be Mansfield (Monday) and Milford (Thursday). Be there to help support OA Field Hockey!
Volleyball: 3 Wins, 6 Losses. After what was a surprisingly bad start to the season, the girls looked like themselves last week as they made easy work of BR, Attleboro, and Taunton to improve to 3-6. They look to become the comeback kids of the Hockomock and beat Mansfield (Monday), Milford (Wednesday), and Foxboro (Friday).
Cross Country: 2 Wins, 2 Losses. XC took a tough loss on the 26th against Attleboro but the races were close for both the boys and the girls. With the addition of Jason Windvogel from Africa, the boys should be a much stronger unit from here on out. This Tuesday they bounced back with a win against Taunton.
