It’s time for the OA Drama Club to put on another fall production!
Picture this: It’s 1846 and Jean-Francois Millet, a French artist, is threatened with debtor’s prison by a man named Bastian Andre. He can avoid it if he comes up with the money, leading him to do the the only rational thing there is to do fake his death and pose as his twin sister, the Widow Tillou.
Throughout the play the audience will witness as Millet tries to deceive his way around debt. If you come to the show, you’ll get to meet his friends: a witty American, a down to earth German, and a hot tempered Irishman. You’ll also get to receive a visit from a Russian Empress, the Queen of France, and a Sultana from Turkey.
Mark Twain’s “Is He Dead?” is a lively satire that will be sure to keep everyone curious and laughing, and is an excellent pick for Drama Club’s fall production this year.
Come support the students who will be working on the show from now until December! Show dates are December 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
