The Oliver Ames volleyball team is ready to take on the Hock! Although the team has lost to Brockton and Stoughton and is 0-2 right now, they will be sure to bounce back the rest of the season and make their presence felt in the league. With new captains, it gives the team a fresh start. Emma Petrillo, Katie Flynn, and Kayla Raymond will control the team this season and be relied on heavily. All three are dominant on the team, and Emma has even played on varsity since she was a freshman. The toughest games of the season for the Tigers will be against Stoughton (who they already faced off against) and Mansfield because they are both great teams who can hit and pass the ball especially well, according to Kayla Raymond. Even with a mediocre record so far, the team and coach are confident in their skills and cooperation and predict they will be around as good as last year or possibly a little bit better. Kayla Raymond (captain) predicts a solid 10-10 record for the ladies. Come support your peers to help them bring a banner back to OA!
