On Sunday October 2nd, Easton’s own Sheep Pasture hosted its 43rd annual harvest fair to celebrate the coming of fall and the transition into the harvest time of the year. As usual, the fair hosted several vendors, food, live music, etc. and people from all over the town and beyond came throughout the day to join in on the local fun.
Many visitors were delighted to be able to get products such as candles, bracelets, lip balms, candies, and more – all made in local areas, which made it even better. Many students from Oliver Ames also attended or helped out at the festival to get involved in the community and have an enjoyable Sunday afternoon, as pictured above.
School clubs also found helpful fundraising spots at the festival, one of them being Oliver Ames’ very own Iron Tiger Robotics team, which sold bracelets and hoped to spread the word out about its group to hopefully receive donations and raise its budget.
As shown, there were also many animal rides and games offered to appeal to younger children. Pony rides were a popular and fun option and many kids also chose to paint newly picked pumpkins for the upcoming autumn months.
The NRT Fair is a great family-friendly event that gains popularity each year and pleases people from both inside and outside of Easton.
